We all know that 5th September is celebrated as teacher’s day in India, but ever wondered how it all started? Why it started? Well that is why

Today I am going to share few facts about this day.

Well to begin with, as of today I miss all my teachers as they have a very special place in my life. Some may remember you and some may have forgotten but for students, teachers will always remain their source of knowledge.

What is teacher’s day and how it started?

In India 05 September of every year is teachers’ day. It’s a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society.

This day is also remembered as the birth date of a great teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He has done so much in his life he was a great believer of education, a very well-known diplomat, a scholar, the president of India but above all he was a great teacher.

Some students of Dr. S.Radhakrishnan wanted to celebrate his birthday but instead he advised them it would be his honor if 05th September of every year is remembered as teachers’ day.

Since 1967 till today this day is celebrated as teachers’ day

IMPORTANCE

Teacher means GURU. One who gives our life a purpose by nurturing our future with different values and ideologies. Not only they give us the knowledge within the books but also guide us with various situations.

All through our lives we take education in schools then college, teachers change but their ideologies remain same and that is to take us a step forward towards our bright future.

Teaching is one of the most influential jobs in this world. It’s a duty to shape the young minds in moving in right direction.

A teacher always stands by your side when you need that right information in your life.

Like we need a guide for discovering a new place, who can tell us about the fact and history of the particular destination, similarly we need a teacher who as a guide always helps us move in a right direction and give us guidance about different facts about life about whom we are unaware.

Since teachers are all over the planet and making this world a better living place. This day is celebrated everywhere. Dates to which vary country to country.

The international teachers’ day is celebrated on 05th October an initiative taken by UNESCO

CELEBERATION

IN INDIA

The teachers’ day is celebrated like a festival in which a tribute is paid to the respective teachers by their students. Schools and colleges hold different ceremonies organized by student bodies to make them feel special.

On this day teachers are made audiences whereas children hold different activities like dance performances, debates and even skits portraying the role of their favorite teacher.

In some parts of the country students dress up in the attire of their favorite teacher and make it special for them.

Some schools and colleges organize gifting ceremonies in order to congratulate them for their rewarding contribution to the society.

Teachers have a huge role in making a country and its people bright by providing them with correct values and methods.

And as of me today remembering all my teachers I would like to thank them all for making me what I am today

And I would like all my lovable audience to take out some time and remember all those things our teachers have taught us in making us good human beings

HAPPY TEACHERS DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
